When I first met Beth, I could tell right away that she was knowledgeable, passionate, experienced, and was going to be an advocate for me during the birth of our son. Not only did she exceed my limited expectations of what  doula would do, but she gave me skills to to prepare for the birth as well and gave me the confidence to give birth. The prenatal visits were a huge help, and I couldn't imagine not having her there for the birth of our son. She made a huge difference in the whole experience, and I highly recommend her to anyone who is even considering a doula! It was life changing to have her there and I know she can do that for you, too!

My experience with Beth was nothing short of amazing! She is very calming, attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. I desperately needed this calm loving energy after the trauma of my first birth. She wa very intentional and good about communicating. She helped me set boundaries with professionals and family members.

Beth was my first Doula and the only person I would have in the future! She was very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She has a very calming presence and made sure everyone in my family was comfortable, not just me. She was always available for my many questions and eased all my concerns. She was able to advocate for me if I felt I couldn't do it for myself. everything I could have asked for and beyond expectation for what I had envisioned my doula to be.

Paige, second time mom.

My husband and I hired Beth as our doula. When we found out we were pregnant,  I had never heard the word doula and didn't know what it meant. After some research and recommendations, Beth came into our lives and became such a huge support in ways I could not have imagined. She was very hands-on, teaching us techniques and helping us educate ourselves on all of the possibilities in childbirth.

When it came time for labor and delivery, she was very supportive, helping me breathe and focus while I was in labor. Her voice was always very calm and soothing. This helped me more than she probably knew. I wanted a natural birth, but decided on an epidural at the last second. Beth fully supported me in the moment. She helped me mentally, physically, and emotionally, in every way she could. It felt like we were a team. It felt so good to have her there with me.

My husband and I plan to have a second child soon, and I cant't image going through it without Beth! Having her there to help advocate for my husband and I when we had no idea what was going on was such a blessing! She brought us peace in times of uncertainty. Beth is truly amazing and puts her whole heart into what she does.

As a dad, I was wary of bringing in someone to help us with the birth process. I felt that it was my job to be the support person my wife needed. I honestly didn't think I needed help. All of that changed after meeting Beth! She made us feel comfortable and assured me that her job wasn't to replace me, but rather to support us during this journey. Beth even supported me on the days she could tell that I was running on fumes, making sure I took care of myself, too. By the time we had our son, Beth felt like family and really set us up for success. She gave us the tools to have a successful birth, showed up late at night, and helped us navigate the ins and outs with the nurses and doctors, even for pushing at the very end. Beth is a tremendous doula and one you'd be lucky to have on your team while welcoming your child into the world.

Derek, partner to Marleigh, first time mom.

Beth is the most caring and compassionate woman I've ever met. As soon as we called her in labor she was on the way. she was there for 17-18 hours, and didn't leave once. As an African-American woman, I felt as though she vouched for me when it came to medical care, and stuck to my birth plan. We felt well-educated going into labor and after. She also came to our apartment and provided postpartum service.

Beth showed us multiple feeding positions and made sure baby was latching properly. it was such a blessing to have her by our side for the birth and after.

Beth was able to inform us about almost any and everything we had questions about. It was great to have someone there to help get whatever information we needed.

Trinity, first time mom. Danny, Trinity's partner.

I used Beth as a postpartum doula after the birth of my son. We don't have family in the area and I was searching for someone to help do anything. Beth stepped in and immediately went above and beyond. As a sleep-deprived first time mom, I didn't know what to expec or what to ask of her. Beth helped me with tending to the baby, helped with independent sleep tactics, nursing and latch improvement, household chores, and just general mom advice and a person to talk to when you're home with a newborn. She brought me books, brought mr a nursing cover I asked for, and truly made my experience wonderful. I had given up breastfeeding and was exclusively pumping and feeding breastmilk from a bottle when I found Beth. She asked me if that was what I really wanted. And I realized I didn't. I wanted to feed at the breast but didn't think I could. Beth helped me change all of that. I'm so grateful she asked the question because it changed everything for me in such a positive way.

The only thing I would change is that I wish I had found Beth sooner in my journey. I have no doubt that she would be a terrific advocate in labor and delivery as well as for my postpartum wishes. You cannot go wrong in hiring Beth.

Chelsea, first time mom.

I used Childyear Choice Doula for my son's birth and there isn't one thing I would change! Beth was so comforting and knowledgeable. She helped me advocate for my birth plan in the hospital and gave my husband the advice and knowledge to know how to support and comfort me in ways that truly helped! She was always just a text away and I never felt uncomfortable asking a question. There's no one I would recommend more!

Phoebe, second time mom.

Beth was amazing for us! She asked questions to understand what we wanted and was sensitive to our needs. Beth went above and beyond to ensure a safe and beautiful pregnancy and birth. She was also our postpartum doula, ensured our family was adjusting well and staying safe!

Beth was like family. She was very caring and supportive. She is patient, punctual, gives her all to the task at hand, has very good communication skills and is very informed.

If problems occurred, she was patient and firm and worked around the problem. She made connections to help everyone work together.

Aqua, third time mom.

I used Beth's postpartum service. She is extremely knowledgeable and it was so comforting to have such a good resource helping me at home after baby. She was so very helpful with my older children so I could spend some sweet time with my baby, and provided encouragement along the way. I would recommend her postpartum service to anyone who is considering a postpartum doula. It is so worth it!

Beth taught me how to feed my baby from a cup if necessary. She always came prepared with activities for my older kids and resource books for me.
